October 11 – November 15 | 4:00 pm
If you are struggling with a loved one who is addicted to drugs or alcohol, have pleaded with them to begin treatment, or are not sure how to have that conversation, Valley Professionals is here to help.
The Montgomery County CRAFT group begins October 11th and will meet every Monday for six weeks, from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Valley Professionals Crawfordsville. The sessions are free, confidential, and will teach you the skills you need to help the people in your life who are suffering from addiction. To sign up or for more information, please e-mail Kayla Hens at email@example.com or call 765-362-5100.
CRAFT (Community Reinforcement Approach to Family Training), created by Robert J. Meyers Ph.D., teaches family members skills on how to support their addicted loved ones and encourage them to seek treatment and get their life back from addiction. The goal of CRAFT is focused on helping you care for your loved ones so that they seek treatment. Data shows that 70% of families who learn CRAFT can get their loved one into treatment within one year.
Valley Professionals received funding in the amount of $50,000 as a result of successfully completing the $1 for $2 challenge grant issued by the Wabash Valley Community Foundation.
