Valley Professionals in South Terre Haute opened in July 2021 and has created access to health care services for many in Vigo County and the surrounding area. The South Terre Haute health center offers primary care, serving patients Monday through Friday.

My wife and I had trouble finding a doctor's office that would accept new patients but we got an appointment in 2 days. The office was modern and very clean. Every and I mean every person that works there was pleasant, friendly and caring. The nurse was very detailed in getting our history and the doctor examed us thoroughly and addressed any concern we had. Before we left the doctor had created an action plan that we all could follow. This is now our healthcare "Home". Thanks to the entire office.

I have taken my son to doctors all over town, borderline begging for someone to run tests and listen to my concerns as a parent. No one would take the time to actually listen and run proper tests until we visited Dr. Childress today! He not only listened, but he immediately jumped into action getting blood work, referrals sent out to other places, advice for me while we wait for the results, and doing a full check up on my boy. Everyone in the office from the staff at the front desk to the nurses in the back were nothing but kind, polite and helpful. The woman that did his blood work was incredible, I can't remember her name but WOW, she was awesome. She explained everything to my son before taking his blood, making sure he was comfortable and safe, knew what was going on, etc. If you're a parent that has medical concerns for your child, and you feel like you're not being heard, take them here, you won't regret it!

Dr. Valera is professional, knowledgeable, genuine, caring and easy to talk to. She wants her patients to be well. She’s being aggressive with my care and my people appreciate and are grateful for her although they have not met her.
