Dr. Hatfield completed her undergrad at Indiana State University with the Rural Health Program. She went on to complete all of her medical school training in Terre Haute with the Rural Medical Education Program at the Indiana University School of Medicine, electing to remain in the area completing her residency at Union Hospital Family Medicine Residency in Terre Haute. Dr. Hatfield has been interested in full spectrum family medicine throughout her 11 years of rural training and looks forward to a long career in the area including inpatient, outpatient, nursing home, and prenatal/delivery care. She enjoys the opportunity for full community involvement offered by living where she works. When Dr. Hatfield is not busy caring for patients, her personal time is spent largely with family, including furry family members, as well as enjoying literature, music, and gardening.
