Jana is a Licensed Social Worker with nearly ten years of experience in the therapy role. She specializes in treating patients within the academic setting, as well as those who have suffered from trauma, mood, anxiety, personality, and/ or attachment-related disorders. Jana enjoys having the opportunity to collaborate with medical providers and other service personnel to comprehensively treat patients. Jana currently meets with patients at three of the VPCHC offices, with the majority of her time being spent on the Ivy Tech campus. Outside of work Jana spends her free time exploring the outdoors in rural Indiana with family and friends.

Dr Schneider is an absolutely fantastic doctor! She’s so kind and she takes her time explaining things to you! She truly cares about you and helping you with whatever is wrong! She’s the first doctor I’ve had that didn’t read from my file right in front of my face to know what we were doing. She walked into my room knowing exactly what was going on and discussed things from my previous appointments and checked in on things I’d mentioned in the past. She’s truly amazing!

Dr Schneider was very patient and answered all my questions. My first examination was very thorough. She and all the staff there was easy to talk you and understand. As a newly diagnosed diabetic and was leary about taking insulin...when, how, how much. She explained it very in depth and helped me understand better. Also, dexcom sensors were pre-approved and ordered the same day...before dinner they were at pharmacy ready for pick up .. so I rate them at a 5 because that's all the higher it goes... The phone system....sucks. they have a central phone system that all their offices go through and I'd rather call directly to the office I'm going but I'm getting old and I'm not real techy so that's probably just me being old school. I think I found my permanent family dr.
