As a Parke County native, Dr. Chobanov is excited to be back in her home community caring for patients.
Meet Dr. Katie Chobanov! She is a 2005 graduate of Rockville High School and is excited to have the opportunity to provide care for her friends, neighbors, previous teachers, classmates, and community members. She looks forward to practicing in her hometown at Valley Professionals.
Dr. Chobanov has been a physician since graduating from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2016. For the past eight years, Dr. Chobanov has worked in Indianapolis in the hospital setting. She spent her time rounding, treating adults and pediatrics, and delivering babies. She also saw patients of all ages in the clinic and helped train resident physicians.
Dr. Chobanov loves the variety that family medicine provides. She enjoys doing office procedures, annual well visits for people of all ages, and pediatrics! She likes to meet patients where they are in their healthcare journey. She works with them to make improvements that better their care and quality of life.
