National Health Center Week (NHCW) is celebrated annually in August as part of the national observance of celebrating the success of America’s health centers and raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of health centers as local solutions for affordable and accessible health care.
Community Health Centers serve as the beacon of strength, service, and care in their communities. In moments of pain and loss, they offer support and love. In moments of triumph, they offer hope and a vision for the future. This year’s theme “Lighting the Way to Healthier Communities” honors those front line providers, staff, and beloved patients who lost their lives during the (ongoing) COVID-19 pandemic.
National Health Center Week 2020 looked a little different than past years as Valley Professionals took a virtual route to celebrate. Traditionally, NHCW is a week long observance that highlights our wonderful staff, patients and community through local events. This year, Valley Professionals celebrated for two weeks and virtually highlighted each health center location with a video tour, put a spotlight on all the services offered, provided lunch to staff at each location and showed patient appreciation with a Facebook gift basket giveaway each week.
With health center locations in Clinton, Cayuga, Bloomingdale, Crawfordsville, Rockville and Terre Haute, Valley Professionals continues to provide access to quality health care services and address medical needs of the surrounding areas.
Valley Professionals is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides comprehensive integrated healthcare for all individuals, while promoting educational opportunities. Visit www.valleyprohealth.org for more information.

Valley Professionals Community Health Center and Union Health Clinton held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of their collaborative expansion project. This project will enhance the community’s access to the exceptional rural health care and specialty care these organizations are known for.
