About
Like most family physicians, he enjoys the opportunity to build relationships with patients as individuals and to handle nearly any presenting complaint with competence. He wants to teach residents to do the same. He is particularly passionate about rural family medicine with its unique challenges and joys. He loves doing and teaching outpatient procedures. The two most important things in his life are his faith and his family. His family is quite involved in their church and he says that he can honestly say that there is no one on Earth he would rather spend time with than his wonderful wife and the five children they have been blessed with. They homeschool their children and have enjoyed seeing them grow and learn. As a family, they enjoy reading together, playing strategy games, and outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, canoeing, and cutting wood.
