Child Abuse Prevention Month
Each year, the Children’s Bureau releases a detailed report of national data about child abuse and neglect known to child protective services agencies in the United States. The 2019 Child Maltreatment Report is an important resource relied upon by researchers, practitioners, and advocates throughout the world.
Alcohol Awareness Month
Alcohol Awareness Month is a national public health awareness campaign sponsored by the National Council for Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD). It takes place every April. Alcohol Awareness Month was developed in order to increase awareness and understanding of the causes and treatment of one of our nation’s top public health problems: alcoholism.
